This is what Ford "leaked" some time ago, and it looks like a combination between a GT car and a LMP car.

But unless the next set of GTE rules will allow extensive modifications to the base car(and I really doubt it, since they plan to attract more manufacturers with cost controlling measures) such a solution is impossible to be legally used in GTE.

In conclusion, that thing is either a Garage 56 entry or just press bait.

Maybe it's just Forza's version of a vision Gran Turismo car?

Added weirdness, it has the decals for a hybrid and a lmp2 class. I'm starting to think this is just a rendering to break the internet.

Well if the render above is correct, it does say HY on the fin which could support a Garage 56 entry if they wanted to test a new racing platform...

I knew the first pic is a rendering, but I was too busy looking at the Forza logo in the bottom right of the second pic to notice the top left. Hmm, if that's the future of LMP2 I'm looking forward to it.
